The Derek Dooley Amputee Football Academy opened on 13 September 2008 and it is based at All Saints School/Goals Soccer Centre, Norfolk Park Road, Sheffield. Sessions are held every Saturday between 10am - 12.00pm and costs £2 per session.
The academy is open to amputee players of all ages and is looking to form teams in the Under 11, Under 18 and Open Age (Adults) age groups. All teams will be affiliated to Sheffield & Hallamshire FA.
Sheffield & Hallamshire FA are in full support of the amputee academy and are actively involved with the development of opportunities for everyone to play football where previously there has been little or no provision.
