In Service

Sheffield & Hallamshire FA are pleased to announce the launch of its Charter Standard In-Service Training programme for season 10/11.

The In-Service training programme aims to increase the knowledge of coaches from the Sheffield & Hallamshire FA region, who are currently working within its network of Charter Standard Clubs.

Matt Handley, Football Development Officer from Sheffield & Hallamshire FA said “As the demand for a dedicated, qualified workforce of coaches and support staff increases within this area it is crucial that a developed football workforce is in place to ensure the adequate provision and positive development of our players.

We strongly encourage our associates to attend this comprehensive programme of workshops and information sessions designed to support the development of our Charter Standard Clubs, and the army of individuals that make the provision of football possible day in day out across the region.”

The new programme has already kicked off with a course based on clubs attracting sponsorship; the next course has a performance analysis theme. Also included in the programme are other workshops held at venues across the County FA region covering Basic IT Support, Girls and Women’s Player Development, Introduction to Futsal, Introduction to Goalkeeping and Club Administration and Development Plans.

The programme finishes in May 2011 and demand for the In-service Training programme workshops and sessions are anticipated to be high, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Sheffield & Hallamshire FA have produced an In-Service Training Booklet with full information about the courses along with dates.
