Status is attained by meeting the criteria and specific requirements set by the FA and sustaining these to provide the local community with a commitment to developing and promoting grassroots football.
Criteria includes having FA CRB checked volunteers, coaches within the club who hold a FA level 1 Coaching Course certificate and a commitment from all invloved to promote school liaisons and equal opportunities for all.
Benefits to ALL charter Standard Clubs include a mix of financial and supportive benefits, essential to the development of clubs and the individuals involved with them.
As part of the benefits, the Sheffield and Hallamshire FA are offering a Club Essentials Pack which includes discounts and promotions on kit and equipment through Sheffield & Hallamshire FA and Kitlocker.
All clubs will receive; a Charter Standard Club Certificate and plaque which can be displayed to visitors and members as proof of achievement, access to complimentary tickets and group discounts for regional England U21 and Youth & Women’s International matches, in-service training programme which includes a full range of pratical and theory sessions and permission to use the FA Charter Standard logos and promotional material.
Clubs will also be added to the mailing list to receive Charter Standard, McDonalds and Sheffield & Hallamshire FA newsletter and communications and may benefit in the long run with financial support from local businesses in the form of sponsorship.
